Privacy Policy
How we collect, use and protect your personal data.
Last updated: 21 June 2026
1. Who we are
Martinelli Group ("we", "us") is a bespoke carpentry and joinery company based in Lisbon, Portugal, operating across Europe and the Caribbean. We are the data controller responsible for your personal data. Contact: geral@martinelli-group.com.
2. What data we collect
When you use our contact form, we collect the information you provide — typically your name, email address and the content of your message — so that we can respond to your enquiry. Our contact form is processed by Web3Forms, which transmits your message to us by email.
We also collect anonymous usage statistics through Google Analytics 4 (e.g. pages visited, approximate region, device type). IP addresses are anonymised. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
3. How we use your data
We use your contact details solely to reply to your enquiry and, where relevant, to discuss a potential project. We use analytics data only to understand how the website is used and to improve it.
4. Legal basis
We process contact-form data on the basis of your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. Analytics data is processed on the basis of legitimate interest in maintaining and improving our website.
5. Third parties
We share data only with the service providers necessary to operate this website: Web3Forms (form delivery) and Google Analytics (usage statistics). We never sell your personal data.
6. Data retention
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as necessary to handle your request and our ongoing relationship, after which it is deleted. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' standard retention settings.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at geral@martinelli-group.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Portugal, the CNPD).
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page.
