Luxury Carpentry in the Caribbean
St. Barthélemy · Martinique · Guadeloupe
The Caribbean demands a fundamentally different approach to joinery. Sustained humidity above 80%, salt-laden air, intense UV exposure and the logistical reality of island construction — every specification must account for conditions that would destroy standard European interior-grade materials within a single season.
We have delivered spa fit-outs, villa kitchens, bedroom wardrobes and bathroom vanities across St. Barthélemy, Martinique and Guadeloupe. Each project is manufactured in our Portugal workshop using marine-adapted specifications, then shipped by container and installed on site by our own teams. No local subcontracting. No surprises.
Built for the tropics
All substrates specified in moisture-resistant MDF or marine-grade birch plywood — never particleboard. Hardware exclusively in 316-grade stainless steel to prevent corrosion. Lacquer systems use marine-grade polyurethane with UV stabilisers. Edge banding bonded at 220°C for long-term adhesion in high humidity. Internal ventilation slots prevent condensation inside closed cabinetry. We have tested these specifications across multiple Caribbean projects — they perform.
Portugal to Caribbean — our own supply chain
Every component is manufactured and pre-assembled in our Portugal workshop, then flat-packed into standard 20ft or 40ft shipping containers with custom protective crating. Transit time to the French Caribbean is typically 14-18 days. Our installation team flies out separately and arrives on site the day the container clears customs. A typical villa kitchen installation takes 5-7 days from container to completion. We coordinate with local contractors for plumbing and electrical connections.
